Pupil Detection for Automatic Diagnosis of Eye Diseases Using Optimized Color Mapping

Introduction: Pupil and iris disorders form an important category of eye diseases. Accurate segmentation the pupil is first most step in automatic diagnosis diseases related to iris. Most existing methods do not have enough accuracy are sensitive effects noise specular spot reflection. In addition, images used these usually limitations, such as viewing angle . Method: proposed algorithm, a stable method offered remove reflection pupil, necessary preprocessing done detect exact location pupil. An optimized color mapping algorithm calculated with help LM accurately determine boundary. This does impose any restrictions on image shape, can be shape direction Results: The assume specific model final boundary (circle or oval) robust factors well. has been able 98.8% using UBIRIS dataset 98% collected data by authors Conclusion: presented this paper increase determining internal external border diagnose iris, well identity identification based tissue.
